Overshare

Equal parts weird, sexy and fun, Overshare’s musical stylings transcend genre. Formed in Dallas, TX, this eclectic four-piece, comprised of vocalist Eric Rosener, bassist Connor Wayne, guitarist Wil Farrier and drummer Josh Montez, deliver garage rock with a sweet pop coating. The band’s debut single “Flaws” features Eric delivering his signature rap-singing vocals over a groovy bassline as he opens up about his bipolar disorder and “hypomanic super problems.” On “Prison,” he feels trapped in love, wanting to “escape when no one’s looking.” Since its genesis, Overshare has undergone a few lineup changes, originally launching as a duo consisting of Eric and Connor. But as a full band, their sibling-like dynamic and aural chemistry make for a bonding experience between the band and audience. The raw, unfiltered emotions in each song’s lyrics paired with fun, melodious instrumentals prove cathartic for both the band and the listeners.
